Terms of Service
Last updated: June 6, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the StorageOptimizer console (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the Service.
2. Description of Service
StorageOptimizer is a cloud storage analysis utility designed to identify duplicate and near-duplicate files using metadata and visual comparison filters. The Service recommends duplicate groups to keep or delete based on automated analysis.
3. User Deletion Action at Own Risk
CRITICAL: StorageOptimizer provides suggestions and groups, but it never deletes any files automatically. All file removals, moves to trash, or optimization selections are initiated explicitly and manually by you. You assume 100% of the risk and responsibility for any data loss, file deletion, or corruption resulting from actions you take in the console. You must verify all duplicate groups before confirming deletion.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is")
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE WEBSITE OWNER AND OPERATORS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL CORRECTLY IDENTIFY ALL DUPLICATE COPIES.
5. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE WEBSITE OWNER, OPERATORS, PARTNERS, OR DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF CLOUD STORAGE ACCESS, SERVICE DISRUPTION, OR ACCIDENTAL LOSS OF CRITICAL FILES), ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
6. Changes to Service & Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or edit these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal actions related to the Service must be filed in the courts located near the owner's primary location.
